For those who are addicted to the written word, here’s the script for this week’s hack:
Welcome to MarketerGizmo’s Weekly Lifehacks for Marketers. I’m Griffin Kay and I’m here to bring you this week’s lifehack. This week’s lifehack: how to avoid sifting through a full email inbox on a daily basis.
As a marketer, your day is full of mission critical tasks that are fighting against time wasting tasks for your attention. A huge time waster that marketers face is having an inbox full of emails that you’re never going to read.
If you’re like me, you subscribe to newsletters and mailing lists. Maybe that’s to check out what other marketers are sending, or maybe you want to follow up on some content that you really dig.
Then all of a sudden, you’re scanning up to a hundred emails a day. Before you know it, valuable communication is getting lost in a sea of unread emails.
So, what do you do?
But that still takes time out of your day and distracts you from more important tasks. So this week’s lifehack to help you clear out the clutter in your inbox is to use this awesome tool called Unroll.me.
It’s like a inbox maid service that won’t go snooping in your closet.
It pulls up all of your email subscriptions and allows you to select which ones to unsubscribe from en mass, and also takes all the emails you actually want and has them rolled up into one daily email.
I found it convenient and suggest you give it a shot.
So, if you’ve got any other tips on how to keep your inbox clean, go ahead, mention them in the comments and while you’re at it, just click that subscribe button down to the right and keep getting weekly lifehacks from MarketerGizmo. Thanks.
